摘要: Magnetohydrodynamic equilibria in elongated tokamaks after the loss of vertical stability are studied using externally measured magnetic data from DIII-D device. The experimentally reconstructed found to be generally type that has currents flowing along field lines scrape-off region between plasma and vessel hence involves both poloidal toroidal surrounding vacuum wall. Vertical forces on due induced evaluated. It is shown part associated with current can substantially larger than current.
