摘要: BACKGROUND: phonoaudiological evaluation of rare occurrence syndrome. PROCEDURES: describe the performance shown in clinical a patient with genetic diagnosis Sturge-Weber Syndrome. RESULTS: assessment had abnormalities concerning bone structures face, inadequate as for morphology, mobility tone all speech organs, presence reflections demand sucking primitive. In Semantic Pragmatic language Speech, processes auditory, sensoriomotor exploitation, little interaction shared attention difficulty eye contact; predominantly gestural communication, no records verbal communicative acts. The request action, exclamatory, exploratory protest, great use non-focused light. Listening proved to be altered, representative gestures were sporadic, functional laterality undefined. II, failed areas: personal, social, motor fine coarse. CONCLUSION: showed disturbance moderate Oropharyngeal Neurogenic Dysphagia, being required maximize adapt functions.
