摘要: Among other advantageous aspects, the teachings herein provide network-side and device-side apparatuses methods that preserve normal Resource Element (RE) aggregation levels for transmission of Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channels (EPDCCHs) in “constrained” subframes, where refers to any subframe having fewer REs available EPDCCH usage within a base set PRB pairs than are “non-constrained” or “normal” subframe. Non-limiting examples subframes include special Time Division Duplex, TDD, operation, which comprise downlink portion is abbreviated accommodate an included uplink portion, along with guard between them. Multimedia Broadcast Single Frequency Network, MBSFN, represent another example constrained subframe, only first two OFDM symbols transmissions.
