摘要: Increasing evidence derived from experimental and clinical studies suggests that the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis (HPT) hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) are physiologically related act together as a unified system in number of pathological conditions. The suggestion specific thyroid hormone receptors at ovarian level might regulate reproductive function, well suggested influence estrogens higher levels HPT axis, seems to integrate reciprocal relationship these two major endocrine axes. Both hyper- hypothyroidism may result menstrual disturbances. In hyperthyroidism most common manifestation is simple oligomenorrhea. Anovulatory cycles very common. Increased bleeding also occur, but it rare. Hypothyroidism girls can cause alterations pubertal process; this usually delay, occasionally pseudo-precocious puberty. mature women associated with abnormal characterized mainly by polymenorrhea, especially anovulatory cycles, an increase fetal wastage.
