摘要: Uveal melanoma (UM) is the most common primary intraocular malignant tumor in adults and around half of patients develop metastasis die shortly after because lack effective therapies for metastatic UM. Consequently, new therapeutic approaches to this disease are welcome. In regard, microRNAs have been shown a key role neoplasia progression potential be used as tools. addition, different cancers including UM, particular microRNA signature appears that from healthy cells. Thus, restoring regular levels could restore normal behavior study, four downregulated UM chosen reprogram cancer cells, promote cell death or increase their sensitivity chemotherapeutic SN38. Furthermore, improve internalization, stability and/or solubility molecules employed approach, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were carriers. Remarkably, study found synergistic effect when oligonucleotides drug was added.
