摘要: For the thermomechanics of nematic and cholesteric liquid crystals, Ericksen-Leslie theory based upon micropolar continuum mechanics are presented. The similarities differences in basic laws motion constitutive equations between these two theories discussed detail. illustrative purpose solutions some special problems given order to illustrate features theories.
