摘要: Background and Objective: The percence of organic compounds resistant to biodegradation has become one the most important environmental challenges in chemical petrochemical industry this century. Phenol or hydroxyl benzene as an aromatic hydrocarbon discharged into environment through certian industrial effluents which, thereby, pollutes water resources. This study examined performance evalution oxidizing agents peroxide hydrogen, persulfate periodate activated by ultrasound for removal phenol from aqueous solutions. Materials Methods: In experimental study, treatability polluted effluent using US/S2O8, US/IO4 US/H2O2 with a frequency 40 kHz treatment contaminated phenolic were investigated. effects operational parameters such concentration amount persulfate(0.001-0.005 M), hydrogen (0.004-0.1M),and (0.001-0.005 M),, different contact times pH (3,7 10) impact changes ionic strength selected variables study. Results: results showed that increasing oxidation significantly increases efficiency then decreasing trend was observed phenol. So that, optimal persulfate, periodate, and 0.003M 0.004M 0.1 M/l, respectively. Study all three processes had at pH= 3 reduced US/S2O8 process no effect on other processes. Conclusion: indicated combined ultrasonic conditions highest compared Therefore, can be used good oxidizer together waves remove Key words: Aqueous solutions, Oxidant agents, Ultrasound wave, Removal Funding: research funded Hamedan University Medical Science.
