摘要: Software development projects still fail at an unacceptable rate although prior studies have identified critical success factors needed for project success. This study contributes to the management literature by providing further insight into nature and role of ‘top support’ (TMS), which is widely recognised as one factor in software projects. The seeks TMS from perspective managers their perceptions actions required top facilitating A qualitative case-based approach was employed. Sixteen ‘actions’ are identified, subsequently framed a conceptual model consisting three roles: strategy, facilitate lead. represents first stage ongoing research program. will be tested Asia-Pacific region second stage. expected final outcome program framework that support environments defining different stages life project.
