摘要: The purpose of this study, is to compare the extent and types physical proximity contact between mothers infants across different countries during early child stage life, discuss how those activities are modulated by contrasting cultural styles. We have compared way in which engaged with their children societies, investigate similarities differences proximal maternal behaviors, selecting 5 belonging Western (Italy USA), Eastern (Korea Japan) Developing (Kenya). Moreover, research analyzed related child’s subsequent development, examining experiences life could affect his future growth. results discussed light culture-universal as well culture-specific aspects parenting. Three studies been developed: first examines compares ways physically engage very young Italy USA, asks whether they differ response infant vocalizations; second proposes a wider analysis engagement countries, investigates behaviors (Kenya); third evaluates influence on development play, adaptive behavior, emotion availability, Italian sample. Finally, Appendix, reported study particular form attachment behavior presented mammalian (the Transport Response (TR)), mice genetically modified who show deficits behavior. corroborates importance investigating genetic basis order better understand affiliative relationship higher mammals.
