摘要: Definitions of music invoking the human cutoff point are reviewed. The pied butcherbird Cracticus nigrogularis is suggested for a zoomusicological case study on how birdsong might be like animal`s (whether homologous or analogous). Portamento as an impediment to off-the-shelf musicology in analysis discussed. It proposed that employment different types and levels description could facilitate most fecund survey analysis. An initial butcherbirds use notes, calls, song presented, including sonograms standard notation, followed by elucidation repertoire procedures found both song. concluded their elaborate culture seems overreach biological necessity, indicating aesthetic appreciation sound present butcherbird.
