摘要: A magnetic plasma confinement configuration aimed at sustaining high‐current densities is proposed. It involves a small triangular and elliptic deformation imposed over circular cross section of the column by surrounding conducting shell close distance. The stability against kink modes analyzed shown to be same as that an equivalent with equal area, but section. An assessment over‐all this points significant improvement, in terms Ohmic heating resulting from induced current, known configurations
