Incorporating Dynamics in a Mesh-Based Magnetic Equivalent Circuit Model of Synchronous Machines

摘要: A mesh-based magnetic equivalent circuit has been derived to model the dynamics of wound rotor synchronous machines (WRSMs). particular focus placed on derivation flux tubes with an arbitrary number damper bars at depth in pole tip. Faraday's Law is applied establish a state which winding and bar linkages are selected as variables. The resulting coupled circuit/state solved predict machine dynamics. An important attribute that saturation represented without need for relaxation factor, enables its use practical tool design. Data obtained from hardware experiment finite-element used validate proposed methods.
