Analysis of wind characteristics in coastal areas of Bangladesh

摘要: The present demand of energy is increasing day by due to various reasons such as population, the aspiration for improved living standards and general economic industrial growth. In wake world crisis, which mostly affected least developed countries, interest in alternative resources has been increased considerably. this regard, wind a source can hold good prospect underdeveloped country like Bangladesh. Besides, utilization growing rapidly whole environmental pollution, consumption limited fossil fuels global warming. Bangladesh fairly potential, exploitation still crawling level. current study, characteristics potential Teknaf, Kutubdia, Sandwip, Kuakata, Mongla Coastal Areas are investigated. measured data were processed hourly monthly basis. Weibull probability density functions locations calculated light observed shape parameter scale also calculated. main objective find out utilization.
