Galanin's implications for post-stroke improvement

摘要: Stroke leads to a variety of pathophysiological conditions such as ischemic infarct, cerebral inflammation, neuronal damage, cognitive decline, and depression. Many endeavors have been tried find the therapeutic solutions attenuate severe neuropathogenesis after stroke. Several studies reported that decrease in neuropeptide regulator 'galanin' is associated with loss, learning memory dysfunctions, depression following The present review summarized recent evidences on function potential galanin post-ischemic stroke provide further understanding galanin's role. Hence, we suggest needs be considered factor alleviation post-stroke pathologies.
