摘要: Colorectal cancer is a leading in most developed countries. It predominantly affects older people, and its incidence increases with increasing age. Older people pose special challenges to the physician. patients are often perceived benefit less from treatment because of limited life expectancy competing causes mortality. They also experience greater toxicity diminished organ reserves multiple comorbidities. Physicians themselves perceive that reluctant undergo toxic chemotherapy. may face socioeconomic barriers receiving This review will explore pattern use, preferences, benefits, regarding use adjuvant chemotherapy elderly patient stage III colon cancer. Additionally, this examine potential implications dose reduction, premature stoppage, role for II disease, strategy choosing right regimen.
