摘要: Perceptions of fisheries authorities and fishers on the status fish stocks in Spermonde Archipelago, a coastal shelf off SW Sulawesi, Indonesia, seem to concur. However, constraints imposed by administrative physical environment weak contrasts fishery outcome within cause these partners cannot find realistic arguments for causal relation between catch effort from their experiences. Therefore co-management this area is not yet viable. More informative use data standardising unit effort, accounting fast developments motorization, combining ecological grounds rather than will increase management value already available official data.
