摘要: BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Congenital heart disease (CHD) is common in trisomy 13 (T13) and 18 (T18), but surgical repair has not been offered most centers. Data on outcomes of congenital surgery (CHS) for T13 T18 are lacking. We sought to determine the impact CHS in-hospital mortality T18. METHODS: from 2004 2015 Pediatric Health Information System database were used identify inpatients with or CHD. restricted newborns admitted at ≤14 days age. Hospital readmissions examined analyze longer-term mortality. In-hospital length stay compared between infants without CHD CHS. RESULTS: The study cohort included 1020 648 T13. was present 91% 86% performed 7% each group. decreased those who underwent (64% lower [P CONCLUSIONS: associated These results suggest may be beneficial select cases.
