摘要: Superconductivity refers to a fascinating state of matter where the electrical resistivity is precisely zero. Originally discovered in elemental metals such as mercury and tin early part last century, mechanism superconductivity was elusive nearly 50 years passed before comprehensive theory for proposed by Bardeen, Cooper Schrieffer [1] (the “BCS” theory). In normal metal, determined elastic scattering carriers. However, when metal becomes superconductor, charge carriers are no longer single electrons, but rather pairs electrons (“Cooper pairs”), which bound together phonon interaction (phonons vibrations atomic lattice), flow without resistance.
