摘要: Abstract This paper explores the relationship between transport emissions and various measures of passenger travel patterns in Britain. The uses original data from 1989/91 National Travel Survey identifies a method for incorporating range vehicle operating conditions into calculations energy consumption each journey recorded data. shows that distance is reasonable proxy most pollutants. per person therefore simple readily available environmental indicator transport. has potential application assessment current policies programmes development future programmes.
