摘要: Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel that can affect the entire digestive tract, most often terminal ileum. The treatment of consists medical management primarily with use steroids and immunomodulating agents. Despite therapy, 80% patients will require surgical intervention during their lifetime. common surgery performed for an ileocolic resection stricture or obstruction. This chapter provides step-by-step approach to performing laparoscopic-assisted ileocecectomy, strictureplasty, small resection. benefits laparoscopic include decreased length stay, reduced morbidity as well improved cosmesis.
