摘要: The operation and advantages of a four-element chemical sensor array, comprising carbon paste electrodes doped with different metal oxide catalysts, are described. Cu[sub 2]O-, RuO[sub 2]-, NiO-, CoO-modified surfaces exhibit distinctly catalytic properties toward carbohydrates or amino acids. By coupling the unique array response patterns various statistical regression techniques, it is possible to determine individual acids in sample mixtures. For two- three-component mixtures, the partial least squares (PLS) calibration method yields an average relative prediction error 2.3%. Such multicomponent quantification accomplished amperometric flow injection experiments. highly stable linear, as desired by mathematical models. 13 refs., 7 figs., 2 tabs.
