摘要: ABSTRACT A new species of oribatid mite, Asperemaeus striganovae is described, based on adult specimens collected from the epiphytic and edaphic lichens in a cool temperate larch forest, surrounding Lake Hovsgol, Northern Mongolia. n. sp. second member genus previously known only Russian Far East. By definition, species, A. longipilus Behan-Pelletier, 1982 sensilli have relatively short stalk with clavate heads, posterior notogastral seta p2 situated very close to setae p1 h1 , femora I–IV strongly hypertrichous. However, shows long sensillar less swollen club-shaped normal position that apart different number trochanter IV, which distinguish it type species. Habitat characteristics as well ecology newly described are discussed.
