摘要: Amyloidosis results from the deposition of amyloid proteins in organs and tissues. Clinically, it can be classified into systemic localized forms. Here, we report a case amyloidosis nasopharynx neck. The initial presentation was nasopharyngeal mass, bilateral neck masses, mimicking carcinoma with metastasis. Computed tomographic scans revealed asymmetry between walls, multiple radio-opaque masses both sides A biopsy performed confirmed deposition. Subsequent neck-mass excision biopsies that were also deposits. Further laboratory examinations no involvement. There disease progression after local excision. Localized head is rare, but have various manifestations may sometimes mimic neoplasms.
