摘要: AIM The Ubiquitin (Ub)-proteasome system maintains cellular homeostasis through proteolysis, and Ub appears in the damaged cells of many organs. Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP)in elderly patients was studied to clarify relationship between Ub-positive cells, damage, resistance therapy. METHODS Specimens surgical lung biopsy with NSIP pattern (NSIP/P) from 13 (mean age, 68 years old) were examined histologically immunohistochemically. Pneumocytes under high-power microscopy counted for eosinophilic inclusion bodies cells. NSIP/P evaluated cases scored erosion intraluminal granulation tissue subtypes (polypoid, mural, or occluded) as injury markers. subdivided into fibrosing according proportions inflammation fibrosis. RESULTS 1) Six had (Ub+ group), all inclusions identified by light-microscope positive Ub. A greater number Ub+ pneumocytes found compared light-microscope, immunostaining useful detection inclusions. 2) Granulation scores group significantly than Ub- (p<0.05); there no difference groups. 3) (including each subtype) NSIP/P. 4) After a follow-up period, correlation therapy resistance. CONCLUSION Some inclusions, these Ub+. Pneumocyte might occur via Ub-proteasome pathway NSIP/P, although
