摘要: When hosting mega-events such as the Olympic games, increased visitation to nearby local attractions is expected boost economy and sustain host city’s brand. These spillover effects, well spatial interaction among touristic attractions, are critical from long-term sustainable-planning perspectives. This study investigates tourists’ patterns of multiple destinations during 2018 Winter Olympics finds that attraction networks originated three major cores, forming a strong northern sandy beach–south downtown connection. The domestic visitors’ network had significantly more diverse implying city branding may have been limited boundaries. Transportation modes significant impact, public transportation walking cores were denser. staying period no impact on number or connection strengths—even lower core values; however, was denser, suggesting longer stay not imply destination visits. findings suggest enhanced international profile in only fashion.
