摘要: The present study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of kaempferol in isoprenaline (ISP)-induced myocardial injury rats. ISP administered subcutaneously for two subsequent days induce injury. Assessment done by estimation hemodynamic functions, infarcted area, cardiac markers, lipid profile, oxidative stress, pro-inflammatory cytokines and histopathology heart liver. Rats pretreated with showed reduction area rate. However, no improvement observed change body weight, mean arterial, systolic diastolic blood pressure. Kaempferol significant decrease serum LDH, CK-MB, troponin-I profile. highest dose did not reduce triglyceride level. Further, antioxidant enzymes, SOD catalase, were also higher. reduced glutathione, SGOT creatinine show any improvement. MDA at pro-MMP-2 expression MMP-9 mRNA level TNF-α different kaempferol-pretreated injured rats ISP-alone group. Pretreatment mild mononuclear infiltration degenerative changes tissue section higher concentration normal cordlike arrangement hepatocytes moderate swelling (vacuolar degeneration) around central vein. Study suggests that attenuated stress ISP-induced
