摘要: A method for removing sodium oxalate from a caustic aluminate liquor produced using the Bayer process is disclosed which includes steps of initially washing all product aluminum trihydroxide obtained precipitation circuit to remove any crystalline oxalate, thereby preventing further within precipitators. This causes dissolved concentration rise level conducive economic removal by side-stream crystallization, without requiring costly evaporation step. The may be removed in an amount equal new formed during fresh bauxite digestion, thus maintaining steady precipitation. In addition, stabilized oxalate-free condition addition small amounts organic polymer.
