摘要: A method for removing sodium oxalate from a caustic aluminate liquor produced using the Bayer process is disclosed which includes steps of initially washing all product aluminum trihydroxide obtained precipitation circuit to remove any crystalline oxalate, thereby preventing further within precipitators. This causes dissolved concentration rise level conducive economic removal by side-stream crystallization, without requiring costly evaporation step.
