摘要: Abstract We describe the level of agreement between patients and their physicians with respect to use Pap smear, symptoms present, smear results. The data derived from a case-control interview study 181 newly diagnosed invasive squamous cell cervical cancer cases 905 age-matched controls, second 250 dysplasia 500 medical records attending for all patients. Cases controls in both studies reported more smears over previous 5 years than indicated; also last as recent noted physician files. Cancer were somewhat accurate on frequency timing other patient groups. Patients tend report at recorded Disagreements results probably because differences terminology, especially distinguishing pre-cancerous conditions; tended some dysplasias cancer, but under-reported dysplasia. If high response rates can be obtained, we would prefer basis evaluation screening programs, when dating events is required. However it less clear whether are preferred, if take into account.
