Mass spectrometric and photoionisation investigations of the structure of heterogeneous clusters

摘要: Abstract Heterogeneous clusters have been produced by a supersonic expansion of two compounds (COAr, N 2 Ar) and subsequently ionised either electron impact or photoionisation. The mass spectra show the form Ar n − m X + (X = CO, ) and, especially in case are governed fragmentation precursor neutral clusters. photoionisation for small, mass-selected ionic also strong evidence large behaviour mixed COAr is seen to be significantly different from that Ar we postulate model heterogeneous which involves existence more than one energy threshold corresponding ionisation each constituent species.
