摘要: UNLABELLED Concurrent colorectal cancer (CRC) and vascular disease, such as abdominal aortic aneurysm, represents a challenging clinical situation. Both lesions may lead to the demise of patient therefore should be treated. Endovascular techniques enhance decision-making even permit single-stage treatment. PATIENTS AND METHODS Retrospective review patients in university department with extensive endovascular experience. Between 2004 2010, seven synchronous disease were identified. RESULTS The mean age was 73 years, all men. Five had concurrent CRC aneurysmal disease. Two critical carotid artery stenosis CRC. All treated techniques. resected open In four patients, repair followed by staged resection performed. three procedures There one perioperative death, for mortality 14.3% our series. no graft infections. CONCLUSIONS Priority treating remains dilemma. Combined treatment procedure is feasible. Risk infection lower than expected.
