摘要: A method and apparatus for identifying the fossa ovalis. The transseptal (50) includes a hollow sheath (51) an internal catheter (52). distal end (70) of (52) first second electrodes (65, 66) that communicate with cables (53, 54) which may be attached to device generating electrograms. electrograms are acquired while moving plurality positions against interatrial septum. ovalis is identified on basis at least one unipolar voltage reduction, signal fractionation, broadened signal, reduced slew rate, local myocardial impedance, increased phase angle, pacing threshold.
