摘要: Abstract Variations in the thickness of daily growth increments otoliths ( n = 40) sea bass Dicentrarchus labrax L.) hatched and reared laboratory ranging age from 2 to 116 days were studied. The complete increment series three partial corresponding distinct stages development also analysed by means time series. relationships between otolith water temperature fluctuations during period studied using transfer functions. In experimental conditions major uncontrolled external variable affecting was temperature, observed at noon. Time analysis carried out estimated auto-correlation autocorrelation An IMA model identified, estimated, verified. bivariate process — analyzed a linear function model. examination cross-correlation showed dependence both influence on adequately described an undelayed third-order model, with steady state −0.47μm·day −1 ·°C . updating forecast made As size body length closely related, predicted values could be used for estimations. This paper presents evidence suggesting that is conservative process, any given day depending upon disturbances occurring deposition, t , before, − 1. Water exerted effect same day, thereafter decreased exponentially every 3 days. Multidaily patterns not present otoliths. lack periodicity probably related periodic cycles temperature.
