摘要: The recent advances in integrated circuit technology, wireless communication, and sensor technology have opened the door for development of miniature medical devices that can be used enhanced monitoring treatment conditions. Wireless capsule endoscopy is one such has gained significant attention during past few years. It envisaged future endoscopies replace traditional procedures by providing advanced functionalities as active locomotion, body fluid/tissue sampling, drug delivery. Development energy-efficient miniaturized actuation mechanisms a key step toward achieving this goal. Here, we review some actuators could into capsules discuss existing challenges.
