摘要: We describe microhabitat selection in the Iberian rock lizard Lacerta monticola, a species endemic to some high mountains of peninsula. This is potentially threatened, particular, by changes habitat conditions on ski slopes and from associated buildings resorts that proliferate precisely areas it favours. analyse relationship between physical structure population densities, order establish predictive habitat-population model. Lizards select large screes Cytisus bushes, but scarcely use Juniperus bushes grassy areas. Individuals have an aggregated spatial distribution. The application this model may allow predictions be made about response L. monticola artificial natural changes, could help manage suitable habitats for populations.
