摘要: One of the critical emerging problems in modern pathobiology is how cells govern decision to live or die, and cost making such a decision. Nowhere are these questions more poignant than deciphering tissue-specific responses DNA damage. Mutations repair enzymes, malfunctions cell cycle regulation, genetic instability associated with most somatic cancers. However, many hereditary diseases arising from mutations proteins, same dominant that cause cancer dividing often death terminally differentiated neurons. Context dependent differences response damage used make fundamental choices as fate, likely shed light on mechanisms underlying human disease.
