摘要: Stable carbon isotopic compositions of individual low molecular weight aromatic hydrocarbons, such as alkylbenzenes, alkylnaphthalenes and alkylphenanthrenes, were measured from a set oils, mostly the North-West shelf Australia, varying age, facies type thermal maturity. The objective was to assess influence maturity source during generation these aromatics on their stable compositions. For most oils studied, δ13C components show 13C depletion degree methylation increases. alkylnaphthalenes, is pronounced for compared high oils. methyl groups calculated resulting data display significant differences between ‘mature’ ‘immature’ suggesting that isotopically lighter are ‘released’ maturation proceeds. Therefore, we propose an fractionation associated with transfer mechanisms affecting hydrocarbons diagenesis.
