摘要: Premium ethylcellulose polymers are hydrophobic cellulose ether based biomaterials widely employed as biocompatible templates for the design of novel drug delivery systems. They classified United States Food and Drug Administration Generally-Recognized-As-Safe chemical substances have been extensively utilized within biomedical pharmaceutical industries over half a century. so far demonstrated potential to modulate improve physiological performance bioactives leading desired enhanced prophylactic therapeutic outcomes. This review therefore presents scholarly survey inter-disciplinary developments focused on functionalities useful smart architectures relevant pharmacotherapeutic applications. Emphasis was placed evaluating scientific resources related recent advancements future directions associated with its applications systems drugs biologics past decade thus complementing other specialized reviews showcasing theme.
