摘要: In this paper, the corrosion properties of vegetable oils as base oil for industrial lubricants are evaluated by copper strip test (ASTM D130) and rust prevention D665). An analysis possible organic reaction mechanisms leading to metals in absence presence oxygen moisture is presented, when used oils. Corrosion fatty acids, evolved degradation products, analyzed using quantum chemical calculations. The popular software Spartan 04, Wavefunction Inc., USA was studies employing semi empirical PM3 method. calculations were performed line with similar reported analyze inhibition many nitrogen sulfur containing anti additives.
