摘要: Agricultural intensification was linked to streamwater pollution in a case study watershed using GIS and nutrient budgeting techniques. The results showed that surplus nitrogen applications from fertilizers manure averaged 120 kg ha 1 yr . In some parts of the exceeded 300 A consistent increase pig chicken numbers (59 165% between 1986 1996) is considered main reason for surplus. Water quality impacted two ways: nitrate contaminated groundwater contributed high nitrates major tributary during summer, while wet winter season ammonia, phosphate coliform levels were throughout drainage system. Significant negative relationships found dissolved oxygen ammonia concentrations positively correlated applications. Soil texture type also significantly with water indicators suggesting it possible use budget/GIS techniques risk assessment agricultural non-point sources.
