摘要: This paper investigated the seismic retrofitting of an existing cable-stayed bridge through use a isolation system. The is situated in high zone. During Saguenay earthquake 1988, one anchorage plates supports failed. Herein, several configurations system were considered to identify appropriate solution for both longitudinal and transverse directions. A three-dimensional model was created, its behavior studied nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis. comparative performance study among five showed that partial led enhancement response direction only. However, overall substantially improved directions cases where systems utilized between deck-tower connection bridge.
