摘要: We pattern submicrometer structures of thin films permalloy in the form two crossing ellipses and one long ellipse crossed by several where width varies between 100 1000 nm. find that area has stable axes magnetization, which are perpendicular to each other rotated 45 degrees relative ellipses. measure planar Hall effect (PHE) demonstrate sharp switching behavior easy magnetization. The observed is modeled analytically with bi-axial magnetic anisotropy compared numerical simulations. discuss possible application such for PHE-based memory.
