摘要: In the context of Stereotype Content Model, we investigate “backward” inferential process that leads from competence stereotype to structural attribute status. Three hypotheses were tested: (1) Perceived affects attributions status; (2) less competent group is perceived as warmer (compensation effect); (3) membership ingroup status enhancement. Two minimal groups created; groups’ and manipulated. Findings supported hypotheses: Group was rated higher when target described competent; lower in competence; by members than non-members.
