摘要: Abstract Light is electromagnetic radiation and human beings encounter it on a number of levels. The versatility the cutaneous biological effects allows medical utilization light to be used as potential diagnostic therapeutic tool. In almost all cases restricted certain wavelengths defined photophysical parameters. terms purposes photo testing, Wood's diagnostics fluorescence are frequently tools. use incoherent can divided in four main groups: (1) UV phototherapy, (2) photodynamic therapy (PDT), (3) treatment with light-emitting diodes (LEDs), (4) intense pulsed (IPL). Intense (IPL) devices flashlamps bandpass filters emit polychromatic, incoherent, high-intensity determined wavelength spectrum, fluence, pulse duration. Similar lasers, basic principle IPL selective thermal damage target structure. This review summarizes practical current literature regard unwanted hair growth, vascular lesions, pigmented acne vulgaris, source for PDT.
