摘要: This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of Listeria monocytogenes in retailed meats, comprising beef, chicken, and pork, Tokyo metropolitan area. A total 379 samples meat were collected from 1998 2003, most which obtained by simultaneously purchasing three classes a shop then making another simultaneous purchase same few weeks later. The L. 28.0%, serotypes isolated mainly 1/2a, 1/2b, 1/2c, 4b. Comparison each serotype among showed predominant distribution 4b while 1/2c dominant pork. nine cases considered be due persistence and/or cross-contamination found. Most strains involved or These results suggest that contamination Japan is at almost level as other countries chicken has highest potential source infection. In addition, we ecological niche distinct those 4b, may explain why human hosts have less opportunity exposed there lower rate isolation this listeriosis.
