摘要: AbstractSpectral analyses of two 3.5-yr mooring records from the Timor Sea quantified coherence mode-0 (surface) and mode-1 (internal) tides with astronomical tidal potential. The noncoherent had well-defined variance were most accurately for species (as opposed to constituents) in long (>6 months). On continental slope (465 m), semidiurnal velocity pressure 95%, 68%, 56% coherent, respectively. shelf (145 98%, 34%, 42% response method produced time series coherent tides. spectra decorrelation scales amplitudes similar those barotropic mean flow eigenspeed (~4 days), suggesting local mesoscale variability shapes variability.
