摘要: Abstract The complications with the use of polyethylene catheters are discussed and world literature is reviewed. twenty-six previously reported cases catheter embolus analyzed. Ten from our teaching hospitals reviewed an additional thirteen Los Angeles area added. mortality high unless vigorous surgical measures instituted for removal. factors leading to breakage be taken prevention discussed. Treatment outlined.
