摘要: The use of positron emission tomography (PET) scans is rapidly evolving in the diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance lymphoma. However, significant challenges exist differentiating lymphomatous from benign lesions. Herein we describe clinical radiographic uptake patterns seen common mimics lymphoma, including infections such as human immunodeficiency virus tuberculosis, inflammatory disorders sarcoidosis connective tissue disorders, other lymphoproliferative Kikuchi's disease Rosai-Dorfman disease. utility PET has encompassed varying fields, not just oncology. Future with improved radiopharmaceuticals accurately defining lesions that would affect treatment be paramount importance.
