The expression of intermediate filaments in canine mammary glands and their tumors.

摘要: Monoclonal antibodies specific for different types of intermediate filaments (cytokeratin, vimentin, desmin and neurofilaments) were used to study the histogenesis canine mammary glands 57 tumors by immunocytochemistry. The intra- interlobular duct epithelium, acinar, intralobular myoepithelial cells stained positively cytokeratin. Peripheral ductal acinar cells, as well interstitial vimentin. A similar staining pattern was seen in adenomas, complex benign mixed tumors, ductular carcinomas, one myoepithelioma-like tumor.
