摘要: To describe the clinical characteristics and visual outcomes of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (NV-AMD) patients with irregular pigment epithelium detachment (PED) non-resolving subretinal fluid (SRF) despite continuous monthly injections anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This is a retrospective case series, including NV-AMD treated in tertiary academic practice. Inclusion criteria were diagnosis, PED, SRF anti-VEGF intravitreal injections. Data collection included best corrected acuity (BCVA), central thickness (CMT), sub-foveal choroidal (SFCT), type location PED as seen on optical coherence tomography (OCT). A total 738 underwent during follow-up period 20 eyes 19 (14 females 5 males) met inclusion criteria. Average age was 81.7 ± 6.6 years, mean time 32.1 ± 23.5 months, number 31.3 ± 24.2. Mean VA 0.26 ± 0.21 logMAR (Snellen 20/36) at baseline versus 0.20 ± 0.23 20/32) end (P = 0.28). All presented sub-foveal, 1 neovascularization (MNV). changed from 189.70 ± 68.46 μm to 169.00 ± 63.06 μm (P < 0.001) last follow-up. Patients NV-AMD, under treatment may maintain good after long time.
