摘要: Abstract A spectroscopic investigation is performed on Nd 3+ doped cadmium-phosphate glasses. The Judd–Ofelt analysis applied to the glass system in order evaluate their potential as both laser and amplifier materials. phenomenological parameters Ω (2) , (4) (6) are determined, values 4.80×10 −20 6.18×10 7.14×10  cm −2 respectively. quality factor for 0.86. Predicted radiative decay rates branching ratios of transitions from 4 F 3/2 state I J manifolds determined analyzed. calculated lifetime metastable 31 μs. results showed that 11/2 transition, with fluorescence at 1056 nm, has most application. Photoluminescence up-conversion under excitation 488 nm light exhibits three emission bands ions 541 (green), 601 (orange), 677 nm (red). These assigned G 7/2 → 9/2 13/2 transitions, Analysis luminescence spectra enhances use optical displays, lasers, memory devices.
